EVMojave is a workforce training program operated by Aha Macav Power Service (AMPS) on behalf of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, funded by the California Energy Commission under grant ARV-25-015. This page explains what information the EVMojave portal collects, why we collect it, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Enrollment information — your name and email address, which you provide when you enroll in a course.
- Learning activity — which lessons you mark complete, the responses you give to lesson assessments, and any survey ratings you submit at the end of a course.
- My Learning lookups — when you look up your enrollments by email on the My Learning page, we record the email you searched, your IP address, and a timestamp. This is purely to detect and prevent abuse of the lookup feature.
Why we collect it
- Program operations — to deliver the training, save your progress, issue your certificate, and let you resume where you left off.
- Grant reporting — CEC grant ARV-25-015 requires us to report enrollment counts and completion outcomes. Reports to the CEC are aggregated; individual learner names are not shared in CEC deliverables.
- Abuse detection — IP and timestamp records on My Learning lookups let us block automated scraping of enrollment data.
Where your information lives
Enrollment records and learning activity are stored in Google Cloud Firestore in a US-region database. Your data is isolated to the Fort Mojave tenant — other Confluence-platform tenants cannot read it. The underlying platform is built and maintained by BuildGravity / Confluence AI under a service agreement with AMPS.
Who can see it
- AMPS program administrators at Fort Mojave Indian Tribe — to manage the program, contact you about your training, and issue certificates.
- Confluence AI engineering staff — only as needed to operate and support the platform.
- California Energy Commission — aggregate enrollment and completion counts only, as part of grant reporting obligations.
We do not share your information with advertisers, do not embed third-party advertising trackers, and do not sell your data. The portal does not run external analytics products that share identifiable data with outside companies.
How long we keep it
- Enrollments and learning activity are kept indefinitely so that grant audits, transcripts, and re-issued certificates remain possible.
- My Learning lookup logs (email + IP + timestamp) are deleted automatically 30 days after they're written.
Contacting us about your data
To request a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct an error, or to ask that your record be removed, email jason@confluence-ai.com. Please note that certificate-of-completion records may need to be retained for grant-audit purposes even after a deletion request.
Tribal data sovereignty
EVMojave operates under Fort Mojave Indian Tribe oversight. Information about Fort Mojave members participating in the program belongs to the Tribe and is administered by AMPS on the Tribe's behalf. Decisions about how the data is used, retained, and reported are made by AMPS in consultation with Tribal leadership.
